PROLOGUE

AUTHOR'S POV:

Somewhere in a private sitting:

Maanbir has spent the past twenty minutes waiting for the girl who was supposed to meet him for a marriage proposal. According to his family, it was the time for him to get married, but he had already turned down more than five women. They were either after his money or just wanted to get under his bed . No one is truly interested in knowing him .

This morning, as he was leaving for work, his mother assured him that the girl he was going to meet today was perfect for him. She would understand him and his reserved nature.

But he did not believe that . He knew no one, no one expect HER could truly understand him and love him, and for a fact, he still loves her. He still carried the guilt for everything that happened because of him 10 years ago.

Just then , the gate opened and a girl in business attire walks in looking like an angel from heaven yet radiating the aura of a boss lady .She is Saanvi Mishra, one of the successful designers in India.

As soon as she entered, Saanvi says, "I am sorry for being late," but as soon as she realized who is the person siting in front of her and their eyes meet, everything stooped around them and a lot of emotions could be conveyed from their eyes.

Their hearts pounded in their chests, their breathing uneven. Neither of them noticed the lone tear trickling down their cheeks—until a waiter entered to take their order, snapping them back to reality. Quickly, they wiped away their tears before anyone could notice.

As soon as Saanvi came back to her senses she snapped back and shouted, "You again?"

Saanvi : "I can't believe Mumma thought that you were perfect for me. I hate you Maanbir, your are selfish ,arrogant jerk Mr. Malhotra"

Maanbir: "Aww, Sunshine , don't say like that . But sorry to break your heart ,but there are plenty of girls who fall for me because of what you think as arrogant jerk .

Saanvi : "Then go to thoses girl ! . Why do you want to meet me and waste my time . My day was really going good today, but now meeting you, it has become one of the worst days, on the top of that meeting you for marriage . No way! I am not going to marry you!"
